WASTED REMIX

FINALLY some audio for the blog - has this been the longest drought of dope (or even semi-dope) hip-hop tracks in the history of recorded music? [Waits for backpackers to recommend downloading some "real hip-hop"] So yeah, let's break the drought with Gucci Mane feat. OJ Da Juiceman and the Wasted remix. And if OJ is on the track, you know what that means... AYE! AYE! AYE! AYE! AYE!

BOI (I GOT SO MANY) REMIX

You will hear this on next week's podcast, at XO this Saturday night and at Bada Bing this Sunday. Guaranteed, or your money back. Young Problemz feat. Gucci Mane and Mike Jones, Boi (I Got So Many) remix. On a totally unrelated note, I can't stand Kobe Bryant. I'm a hater when it comes to Mr Bean, I can admit that.

DO IT

No idea why I like this track so much but since it's entered my ears it's buried itself deep into my brain. For some reason it reminds me of snap music crossed with mid-1990s R&B, which is a very, very good thing. Listen to Do It by Nitti feat. Gucci Mane and 9th Ward below. And yes, this is Nitti the super-producer a.k.a. Mr Make a Hit Record in 15 Minutes a.k.a. It's a Nitti Beat, not the Hey Bitty Nitty!

WILT CHAMBERLAIN?

I don't know whether I should be offended by this CD cover or bask in its awesomeness! I'm leaning towards the latter, as it appears Gucci Mane is just paying homage to the NBA's biggest pimp, Wilt "Untouchable Stats" Chamberlain (we're talking on and off the court stats as well).

Take a listen to Gucci's first big hit below, Icy featuring Young Jeezy (before they started beefing and shooting at each other).

WHAT THEY DO

Khia gets a lot of grief for being a one-hit wonder with My Neck, My Back (and to be honest, I prefer the Too $hort version My Dick, My Sack (no Brokeback)), but her new single What They Do featuring Gucci Mane is going to be a massive club hit. HUGE. And it might have the best hook in the history of music.

What they do, what they do
They get drunk and they get loose
Mix that Goose with Absolut
Then they turn to prostitutes

You will hear this at XO every week for the next seven years!
