If you've been to an R&B club in the last 10 years you've heard Fatman Scoop. His first hit was
"Be Faithful" but he was all over party breaks for years before that and is on the intro of almost every producer's first mashup (usually telling you to put your hands up or grab a girl's ass). His live shows are pretty insane, think of them as the opposite of a Nas concert - hot beats, no lyrics, all hype. Check him out at Brooklyn Hotel on Saturday June 11, I'll be warming up the stage for him.
