STUNNED OUT

This track was on the XO podcast a week or two ago - Paula DeAnda feat. Yung Joc, Stunned Out. I'm throwing it up here again because it's growing on me like triflin' hoez on US touring artist balls. Also, it uses a great sample, Nena's 99 Luftballons, which then reminded me of the Jay-Z/Nena mashup 99 Luft Problems. Listen to them both below!

IN DA CLUB VS CLOSER

This is a cool mashup that came out aaaaaages ago, was on a remix service called "Satanic Mashups" if my memory isn't totally shot. It's the acapella of 50 Cent's In Da Club over NIN's Closer beat (you might know the track better as the one that goes "I want to f--k you like an animal"). Next time you're at a goth club, ask your favourite industrial DJ to drop this one! FUN FACT: I used to be a regular at a few goth clubs years and years ago - I was the guy wearing a Hawaiian shirt and old school Cons, chilling with the goths. They're cool peoples!

99 VOODOO CHILDREN

Torn between posting about my love for Grand Theft Auto IV (you know you've been playing it too much when your first thought when you wake up is "I've gotta call Little Jacob to see if he has any jobs for me to do") and my intense, emo-like hate for some other stuff happening right now that I may or may not throw out there later on today/this week, I'm instead going to cool my heels with some Jay-Z and Jimi Hendrix - check out this ridiculous mashup, 99 Voodoo Children. 'Scuse me while I kiss the sky!

LIONEL RICHIE VS JAY-Z - ALL NIGHT ENCORE

Here's the second mashup I promised - Lionel Richie vs Jay-Z, All Night Encore by DJ Emagine. Like I said in my previous post, it's like a triple mashup as it's the Jay-Z vs Linkin Park version of Encore (Numb/Encore) that's used, so technically it should be Lionel Richie vs Jay-Z vs Linkin Park, All Numb Encore. Hot track though, bit different but different in a good way!

BROOKLYN SOUL - HELLO BROOKLYN

Got a few mashups coming your way now. First one isn't technically a mashup, but it's close enough. Taken from the Brooklyn Soul mixtape hosted by Mick Boogie, this is the Hello Brooklyn remix featuring Lil Wayne. The remix is produced by a couple of guys named Shuko and The Gunna. It's basically the Hello Brooklyn track on the Marvin Gaye Sexual Healing beat, damn it sounds good though. The next track (I'll post it shortly) is another Jay-Z mash - technically it's a mashup of a mashup. My head hurts just thinking of that.
