In hip-hop, there's sampling and then there's SAMPLING. Some producers flip a sample so you have no idea where it came from, and then you've got the opposite end of the spectrum - this track Life Goes On by Scar Dirty (produced by Hound Productions) is essentially a hip-hop cover version of John Cougar Mellencamp's Jack and Diane (that's JCM to the right, in case you were wondering). I'm not hating though, it actually sounds good!
