Never done this before - he's an entire Bing set for you. I've blogged about whitefolksgetcrunk.com here before, but that was pointing out some dope music I found there. This time it's super-special - my debut on the website! Every Monday they put up a mixtape as part of their "Mixtape Mondays", but occasionally they run with a live DJ set. And this week they ran with my live set from the Bing from a week ago. Go me! (Only problem is I uploaded that set to the Bing's Soundcloud page instead of my own, giving the Bing's page 29823459239 more views than mine. Gosh darn it.)

DJ LEON SMITH BADA BING LIVE MIX

You on my Facebook page yet? You should be, especially now that every week I'm going to be uploading a snippet (anything from 15mins-1hr) of a DJ Leon Smith Bada Bing set! This is live so there might be the odd mistake or a drunk strip club MC introducing the Bing girls over the mix, pretty much anything goes. If you haven't been to the Bing before it will give you a good indication of the kind of stuff I play there - really, it's pretty much what I'd play in a regular club set. Here's the first few I did, two are from a couple of Wednesdays ago (I usually don't do Wednesdays at the Bing, but this was a special one-off, you can catch me there every Thursday, Friday (dance set) and Sunday) and one from last Thursday.

Two of my favourite artists of all-time! Of all-time! And one of my favourite tracks from Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" album! More exclaimation marks! Take a listen to the "E.T." remix below, by Katy Perry featuring Kanye West. I've been playing the original of this track for a while and it's one of those cool album tracks that both (a) gets a reaction and (b) has people asking for it before it becomes a single. I love that.

RANDOM COLORS (THE LAST BLACK & YELLOW REMIX)

You know what, I never got into the Black & Yellow remix thing. (I'm playing Weezy's Green & Yellow now though, half because it's also Aussie colours and half because I'm jumping on the Packers bandwagon since they've won the Super Bowl.) But now that we've got this remix, Random Colors, it's time to retire B&Y from the remix circuit. Sorry internet rappers, this guy just shut your s--t down.

BADA BING XMAS PARTY THIS THURSDAY

Bing XXXmas is not to be missed! This Thursday night (December 16) come check me out with DJ Feathers and DJ Carl Alley... oh yeah and Sydney's best pole dancers. Plus a live performance from Monchichi and Pimp Paul from the Alien Gang - here's hoping they perform "Go A.G." from the "Welcome to Bada Bing" mixtape, take a listen to it below!

FEEL FREE

This track isn't particularly new (it originally came out in 2008, which is like three decades ago in internet years), but it just shattered the record for "most played track in a weekend". Feel Free by Ricky Blaze feat. Jim Jones and Nicki Minaj was on a Nicki mixtape two years ago, now for the official release they've thrown Jimmy on there as well. Oh and let's count the amount of times it got played in one of my sets last week *counting in my head*... EIGHT TIMES. That has to be a record (if you're counting along, I only had seven gigs last week but I played it twice on Sunday at the Bing. Oh and Friday and Saturday nights at the Bing are dance sets but I usually end them with 30 mins of hiphop/R&B. So there you go.)

I LIKE GIRLS REMIX

Look, I'm not the biggest fan of Game, but I am a fan of girls who like other girls. Which is exactly what this track is about. So much so, they even named it "I Like Girls (Remix)". So a big thank you goes out to Game, Red Cafe and Tyga for the best lesbian-anthem-from-a-male-perspective since Gorilla Zoe's equally awesomely named track "I Like Girls". This is so going to become a Bing anthem for the double podium shows.

It's not the most super-super new stuff, but it's still fresher than the music most DJs are playing in the clubs right now. I saw this a couple of months ago on Attack of the Show (yeah I'm a nerd who watches that s**t, big whoop wanna fight about it), but when I saw it over at MattGC's blog Down With The In Crowd the other day it sparked me into biting blogs and posting it here. (FUN FACT: MattGC is doing the artwork for the upcoming "Welcome to Bada Bing Vol. 1" mixtape. Expect to see it on this blog in the next week or so!) While the track Why? Where? What? by King Fantastic is dope on its own, the real reason why this screamed out to me is due to the fact that porn star Kristina Rose is in the video, absolutely wrecking s**t. Check it out y'all!

FUN FACT: When I was a teenager I wanted to be Eddie Van Halen. Even tried to tape up my guitar to look exactly like his.

I F--KED THE DJ

I'm playing this track, I F--ked The DJ by Tila Tequila, tomorrow night at the Bing for sure, it's a 100 per cent lock, but the only thing is do I open my set with it, close my set with it or just drop it somewhere in the middle. Leaning towards it being the opening AND closing track, what do you guys think? This might become the new Bada Bing anthem yo!

Allow me to re-introduce you to KB a.k.a. Mr Wired Up. His track Put It In Da Air (click here for a working audio link) is honestly probably my most played track in the history of XO. And his new track All Dat Hating feat. Lil O might become the most played track in the history of Bada Bing. Don't hate on the sample either, everyone loves some Between the Sheets/Big Poppa flashbacks.
