Picked up two pairs of these today and I hardly ever buy two pairs of the same sneaker (I'm not balling like Nelly). Jordan Bordeaux, a historic shoe for many reasons - mainly because they're the first sneaker I dunked in when I was growing up in the hood ie. Brisbane. Oh and some bloke wore them in some other bloke's music video as well.

JORDAN VI BLACK/VARSITY RED
Just picked these up from Foot Locker (thanks again to my connect there, the infamous Kaylani). Once again, another pair of Jordans that I'm probably never going to wear - and to those of you saying I should get a pair to wear and a pair for show, do you know how hard it is getting just one pair of size 15s in Aussieland, let alone multiples of the same shoe (having said that, there are a few pairs that I do have multiples of, hah). FUN FACT: I blogged about these joints July 09.Oh, and when I went up to the counter to collect my goods, the girl at the cashier says to me "oh, you're the stripper guy". WOW.

AIR JORDAN 11 "SPACE JAMS"
Aww man, I swear with all the new (old?) retro Jordans set to be released in the near future I'm going to start selling drugs to fuel my sneaker habit (note to police: this is a joke). These Jordan 11 Space Jams are a very unique shoe - they're one of the few pairs of kicks I've owned that I thrashed that bad I had to actually throw them away. There was no coming back for those poor soles (see what I did there?).

REEBOKS!
It's not very often I get to pick up some Reeboks - for whatever reason size 15/16s rarely make it here - so another cheers to Kaylani at Pitt St Footlocker for finding these for me. Reverse Jam Lows, black and pink! Now I just need to put my fat pink laces in them, find a fresh pink polo and I'm set.

BRAND NEW KICKS/SNEAKERPIMPIN'
Due to the excitement of finding a fresh pair of Jordans in my size, here's a couple of tracks dedicated to everyone who gets a tingle in their nether regions when they get a new pair of shoes - Fresh New Kicks by Chingy feat. Mannie Fresh; and Sneakerpimpin' Ain't Easy by Weapon X & Ken Hell (now known as simply X & Hell, both of them are XO VIPs fo' life son). FUN FACT: The pic to the right was from a photoshoot for Explode magazine, which lasted for about four issues back in 2006. It was then reused in The Downlow, a Sydney club guide, soon after.BRAND NEW KICKS - CHINGY FEAT. MANNIE FRESH

NEW JORDAN 3s
Life is great when you have a friend who works at a Footlocker. Kaylani - who you can find on this week's XO flyer, say hi to her if you're ever in the Pitt St Footlocker - found these Jordan 3s in my size (15!) in the FL basement today (one of the other sales assistants even asked where she found them when they came out of the box). They'll sit nicely alongside the other pair of Jordan 3s I've already got - and still haven't worn.

JORDAN PHLY
In the DAVID STERN IS AN ASSHOLE (gotta keep the mentions of the words David Stern up) post, I mentioned that David Stern has a mancrush on Clay Bennett. Well, now it's time for me to come clean with my mancrush. I have a serious mancrush on Michael Jordan. When I was in Year 11 I had glandular fever and was forced to miss half of the school year, just sitting around at home trying to get better. One day my mum came home from the video store with Michael Jordan: Come Fly With Me - when I put it on and saw MJ say at the beginning of the tape "Hi, my name is Michael Jordan. I want you to take a trip with me..." the eyes got a bit watery (one of only two times a movie has made me get all emotional, the second time being when Ricky gets capped in Boyz in the Hood).Back on topic - these are the new Jordan PHLY kicks and they're hot like fire. They're that hot they totally destroyed my brain's capability to form a witty simile. They're named after Pop Herring, the coach who famously cut MJ from his high school team, but at the same time helped His Airness work on his game and helped install his ridiculous work ethic and drive. Kickz101 and dplayground, you better get these in a size 15!
AND NOW, A MEGA-JORDAN PHOTO GALLERY. SERIOUSLY, IT'S HUGE, BUT IF YOU'RE A HOOPS FAN SCROLLING THROUGH THEM ALL IS WORTH THE TIME. THE FIRST PICTURE IS JORDAN WITH THE AFOREMENTIONED POP HERRING, AND THE LAST PICTURE IS JORDAN TODAY, BLAZED OUT OF HIS MIND. OH, AND IF YOU'RE A KOBE BRYANT FAN - YOU'RE NOT WELCOME AROUND THESE PARTS. GIT OUT!
I've got five on it!
