2 LIVE CREW CONCERT JANUARY 3

2 Live Crew's first time performing in Australia! I might be the biggest 2 Live Crew fan in the country - I've got almost all their albums on cassette, LP and CD - so this is a big occasion for me. I'm DJing before the lads get on stage so make sure you get down to the Gaelic Club, Monday January 3. Get your 2011 off to a smutty start!

I WANNA ROCK

As a kid, I grew up listening to Jimi Hendrix and 2 Live Crew/Luther Campbell a.k.a. Uncle Luke. Now here they are on the same damn track? Listen to I Wanna Rock by Harlem's Cash and your mind will be officially blown. It's ridiculous! Oh and expect some hoops content on the blog soon, I'm actually back playing again and even beat an ex-NBL player in a game of 2-on-2 tonight! He wasn't trying hard and my body is wrecked right now, but I'm going to gloat for a while longer though.

I'M 2 LIVE

It's official - second day of spring and I'm sick. But I'm feeling better after hearing this track! I'm 2 Live by 2 Live Crew feat. Mannie Fresh. It'd be even better if it was the 2 Live Crew that included Mr Mixx and Uncle Luke, but at least it's some new music from the Crew, produced by one of my favourite producers.

UNCLE LUKE - PARENTAL ADVISORY

Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell is one of my all-time favourite people. I've got every 2 Live Crew album on cassette, CD and vinyl and I'm trying to pick up every Luke's Freakshow DVD. Quite simply, I wish I was him. Now he's got a reality show coming out on VH1 and it better be shown in Australia. From allhiphop.com's news alerts:

Slated for a July 2008 premiere on the network, the hour-long series follows Campbell as he balances life with his children and fiancée, spends time at the office producing various adult themed content and traveling the country with beautiful women as "Uncle Luke" Campbell. "Parental Advisory showcases the diversity in my life," Campbell told AllHipHop.com.
